Application Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Application Developer with strong experience in .NET, C#, and Microsoft Azure Cloud to design, develop, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in application development using the Microsoft technology stack and deploying, managing, and troubleshooting applications on Azure cloud services.

The candidate will collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA engineers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, and Web API.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate applications with internal and external systems.
• Build scalable and secure cloud-based applications using Microsoft Azure services.
• Deploy and manage applications on Azure App Service, Azure Functions, and other relevant Azure services.
• Work with Azure SQL Database, SQL Server, and Entity Framework Core for data access and database management.
• Implement authentication and authorization using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), OAuth 2.0, or other relevant security mechanisms.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for automated build, testing, and deployment.
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement appropriate fixes.
• Follow coding standards, secure coding practices, and software development best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, sprint planning, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, and application support documentation.Required Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of hands-on experience in application development using .NET and C#.
• Strong knowledge of .NET Framework and/or modern .NET versions, including .NET 6 or later.
• Experience with ASP.NET Core, MVC, Web API, and RESTful services.
• Hands-on experience developing, deploying, or supporting applications on Microsoft Azure Cloud.
• Knowledge of Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure Key Vault, and Azure SQL Database.
• Experience with SQL Server, database design, query optimization, and stored procedures.
• Familiarity with Entity Framework Core, LINQ, and object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience using Git and Azure DevOps for source control, build pipelines, and release management.
• Understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, and secure API development.
• Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.Preferred Skills
• Experience with Azure Service Bus, Azure Logic Apps, Azure API Management, or Event Grid.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud-native application design.
• Experience with Docker and container-based deployments.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Bicep or Terraform.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204) or equivalent.
