POWER BI Developer

Seeking 5+ years experienced Power BI Developer to join SAP Datasphere Reporting team and support strategic reporting initiatives across SEG, Commercial, and Fieldglass business functions. The successful candidates will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise Power BI solutions that enable business users to make data-driven decisions.
The role requires strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, data modeling, SQL, and reporting performance optimization, along with the ability to collaborate directly with business stakeholders, functional teams, and data engineers.
** Experience working with SAP Datasphere and SAP-integrated reporting environments is highly preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Power BI dashboards and reports.
Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable reporting solutions.
Create and optimize data models, measures, KPIs, and visualizations using DAX and Power BI best practices.
Support ongoing enhancements for SEG, Commercial, and Fieldglass reporting portfolios.
Collaborate with SAP Datasphere, data engineering, and business teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Troubleshoot report, data, and performance-related issues.
Deliver production support, defect resolution, and user assistance.
Participate in testing, deployment, documentation, and knowledge transfer activities.
Drive reporting modernization initiatives and improve overall reporting capabilities.
Ensure adherence to reporting standards, governance, and best practices.

Qualifications:
5+ years of hands-on experience developing Power BI solutions.
Strong expertise in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
Advanced SQL and data analysis skills.
Experience working with large-scale enterprise reporting environments.
Strong understanding of performance tuning and report optimization techniques.
Experience working with business stakeholders and translating requirements into technical solutions.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
