Position General Duties And Tasks

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in the Banking API domain to join our team. In this role, the Business Analyst will be responsible to drive the analysis, design, and implementation of API-based solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technical teams to gather requirements, define API specifications, and ensure seamless integration with banking systems. The candidate will have a minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience as Business Analyst in the Banking Industry.

Job Responsibilities

• Business & Requirement Analysis:

Gather and document business requirements for API development and integrations.

Collaborate with stakeholders (product owners, business teams, developers, and architects) to define API functionalities.

Conduct gap analysis and feasibility studies to assess API needs for digital banking services.

Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and streamline business processes via APIs.

• API Design & Development Support:

Define API specifications (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML) and data models for seamless integration.

Work closely with development teams to ensure APIs align with industry standards (Open Banking, PSD2, ISO 20022).

Define API security requirements including authentication.

Assist in designing API error handling and logging mechanisms.

Ensure compliance with regulatory and security policies for API-driven banking solutions.

• Stakeholder Communication & Coordination:

Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams, translating business needs into API specifications.
