Role Description The Senior MERN + TypeScript + AWS Lambda Resources role is a contract position based in India with a hybrid work model, combining on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and developing scalable web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) with TypeScript, and building serverless back-end services on AWS Lambda. The role involves integrating APIs, optimizing application performance, implementing secure coding practices, and troubleshooting issues across the full stack. The individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, contribute to technical design decisions, and ensure high-quality, maintainable code aligned with project requirements and timelines.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in MERN stack development (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) with production-level experience.
  • Advanced skills in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern front-end build tools and frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda and related AWS services (API Gateway, DynamoDB or MongoDB Atlas, CloudWatch) for serverless architectures.
  • Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON-based integrations, and microservices or serverless design patterns.
  • Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization or deployment best practices.
  • Strong understanding of application security, performance optimization, and scalable system design.
  • Ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable code; experience with unit and integration testing frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and experience working in agile or iterative development environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Prior experience in a senior or lead full-stack role and exposure to AI, cloud-native solutions, or mobile/web product development is an advantage.
