Role Description The Product Owner role at Nayanic is a full-time remote position responsible for guiding healthcare software products from concept through delivery and ongoing improvement. In this role, the Product Owner collaborates closely with clinical stakeholders, customers, and internal teams to define product vision, prioritize backlogs, and translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements. Day-to-day activities include refining user stories, coordinating with software development teams, reviewing product increments, and ensuring solutions align with regulatory, interoperability, and workflow expectations. The Product Owner also analyzes product performance, gathers feedback, and drives continuous enhancements to support AI-driven workflows, integration projects, and patient-facing systems. This position involves frequent communication across technical and non-technical groups, ensuring alignment and timely delivery of high-quality healthcare technology solutions.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience and strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, prioritize features, and make evidence-based product decisions.
  • Demonstrated Product Management experience, including backlog ownership, roadmap planning, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Business Analysis capabilities to translate clinical and operational needs into well-structured requirements and user stories.
  • Excellent Communication skills for collaborating with clinicians, customers, and cross-functional technical teams.
  • Understanding of Software Development processes (e.g., Agile/Scrum) and ability to work effectively with engineering teams.
  • Experience in healthcare, health IT, or interoperability (e.g., HL7, FHIR, DICOM) is highly beneficial.
  • Familiarity with AI or data-driven products, especially in clinical or operational contexts, is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as Computer Science, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, Business, or similar) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and maintain clear documentation.
