Role Description This is a contract, hybrid Application Developer role based in Jammu & Kashmir, India, with some flexibility for work from home. The Application Developer will design, develop, and maintain software applications according to project requirements and coding standards. Daily responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, integrating components and services, working with databases, and implementing user interfaces using web technologies such as CSS. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems. The Application Developer will also participate in code reviews, testing activities, and documentation to support stable, maintainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong software development and programming skills, with experience in at least one modern programming language.
• Knowledge of databases and data modeling, including querying, performance considerations, and basic administration.
• Familiarity with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and related front-end concepts to support user interface development.
• Experience with integration of APIs, services, and third-party systems within applications.
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), version control tools (e.g., Git), and basic testing practices.
• Ability to analyze requirements, solve technical problems, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience working in hybrid or distributed teams and managing time effectively across on-site and remote work.
