Platform Engineer

We're partnering with a fast-growing developer of hyperscale data center and power infrastructure. They're hiring a hands-on Platform Engineer to build the AI-enabled internal tools behind their project management office (PMO) and wider business.

This is a build role, not a support role. You'll work on live systems that carry real business data and real deadlines.

What you'll do

• Build and run production internal tools: automations, dashboards, internal apps and AI-assisted tools covering procurement, contracts, BI pipelines and document automation
• Ship production LLM systems such as agentic workflows and RAG, using AI coding tools like Claude Code at production depth
• Decide when a problem needs deterministic code and when it needs AI
• Own security in what you build: secrets management, access control and dependency hygiene
• Keep documentation, decision logs and runbooks up to date
• Report to the PMO Systems & Intelligence Manager and turn clear briefs into reliable systems that scale

What you'll bring

• 5–8 years in software engineering, with hands-on delivery of internal tools or platforms from UI through to backend, API and data
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js and production React
• Expert use of Claude Code or a similar agentic coding tool to ship production systems
• LLM features that reached real production use, not just prototypes
• Git/GitHub, pull-request workflows and ownership of testing
