Software Engineer (SDE 2) - Full Stack

The role

Build and ship full-stack features across our experience commerce platform: the web frontend, the backend services, and the AI-powered workflows behind discovery and checkout. You''ll own real parts of the commerce stack and work with senior engineers to take features from idea to production quickly.

What You''ll Own

• Feature delivery: build and ship customer-facing web features and backend services in React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Core workflows: contribute to high-throughput flows like checkout, catalog, inventory, and order tracking, with reliability as the priority.
• APIs and services: design and build REST and GraphQL APIs, async jobs, and queue-driven background work.
• AI-powered features: bring LLMs and RAG workflows into product search, recommendations, and internal tools.
• Quality and observability: write tests, add logging and telemetry, and help keep the CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) green.

Who You Are

• 3 to 5 years of experience shipping production grade web applications.
• Must-have stack: strong JavaScript/TypeScript, with hands-on experience in React and Node.js.
• A solid grasp of REST and GraphQL APIs, async processing, message queues, and SQL databases. NoSQL is a plus.
• Preferred: experience with e-commerce, quick-commerce, or other high-throughput consumer products.
• A Tier-1 CS degree (IIT, BITS, NIT, or similar) or a track record of shipping fast at high-growth startups.

• You act like an owner. You ship features end to end and follow through on quality.
• You use AI coding assistants like Cursor, Claude Code, and Copilot to work faster.
• You ask sharp questions, make pragmatic calls, and know when to pull in a senior engineer.
• You work closely with product, design, and senior engineers to turn requirements into shipped product.
