Cvent’s Global Demand Center is seeking a strategic and hands-on leader for the role of Manager,

Marketing Analytics. This is a high-impact role for a marketing analytics expert who can turn customer

and program data into clear, actionable insights that shape business strategy.

This role will be focused on customer lifecycle analytics, with a strong emphasis on measuring

marketing’s impact on renewals, expansion, and customer program penetration. You will define the

frameworks, KPIs, and measurement approaches that connect customer marketing activity to business

outcomes, helping leaders understand what is working, where to optimize, and how marketing

contributes across the customer journey.

You’ll partner closely with Customer Success, Product Marketing, Revenue teams, and senior

leadership to build a more complete view of lifecycle performance. You’ll also lead a team of analysts,

ensuring high-quality analysis, clear prioritization, and on-time delivery of insights that influence

decisions. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in marketing analytics, customer lifecycle

measurement, data modeling, and cross-functional leadership, along with the ability to translate

complex analysis into recommendations that drive measurable impact.

In This Role, You Will

  • Lead customer lifecycle analytics across retention, renewals, expansion, and customer program penetration, identifying the drivers that influence performance.
  • Define and evolve the measurement frameworks, KPIs, and analytical methodologies that connect marketing activity to customer business outcomes.
  • Build a clear point of view on how marketing influences renewals and penetration, and use that perspective to guide investment, optimization, and strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze customer behavior, journey progression, campaign engagement, and program performance to uncover actionable insights and opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with Customer Success, Product Marketing, Revenue teams, and senior leaders to align business goals, define success measures, and answer high-priority strategic questions.
  • Develop and maintain intuitive Sigma dashboards and executive-ready reporting that make lifecycle and customer marketing performance easy to understand and act on.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses of complex customer journeys, segmentation, and program effectiveness to inform strategy and recommendations.
  • Lead recurring business reviews for Customer Marketing and partner teams, bringing forward clear insights, trends, risks, and recommendations against goals and benchmarks.
  • Establish and enforce data quality standards, tracking taxonomy, and documentation to improve trust, consistency, and usability of metrics.
  • Identify and implement process, reporting, and workflow improvements that increase the speed, quality, and efficiency of analytics delivery.
  • Oversee and mentor a team of analysts, managing roadmaps, intake, prioritization, and delivery while raising the bar on analytical quality and business impact.
  • Influence decisions through strong storytelling, stakeholder management, and the ability to connect analysis to real business action.

Overall Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing analytics, with strong expertise in customer lifecycle analytics, retention and renewal measurement, and program performance analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to define KPIs, build measurement frameworks, and connect marketing activity to business outcomes such as renewals, expansion, and program penetration.
  • Strong experience translating complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical and executive audiences.
  • Proficiency with Sigma or comparable business intelligence tools, with strong dashboarding and data visualization skills.
  • Experience with data modeling, data quality practices, and analytical approaches that support scalable decision-making.
  • Proven success leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders across Marketing, Customer Success, and Revenue teams.
  • Experience managing, coaching, and developing analytical talent.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including with executive-level stakeholders.

Technical AI Experience

  • Experience integrating AI-powered tools into analytics workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI for tasks such as summarizing insights, accelerating analysis, or generating narrative takeaways from data.
  • Hands-on experience building AI-assisted workflows, experimentation frameworks, or practical applications that improve analytical efficiency and decision-making.

  • Familiarity with marketing attribution models and marketing mix modeling.
  • Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Marketo, or customer data platforms.
