About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Head of DevOps & Engineering Insights to lead the evolution of software delivery, engineering productivity, and data-driven decision making across the organization.

This role combines deep expertise in Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, Microsoft Fabric, and Engineering Performance Metrics with strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills. You will drive platform adoption, improve engineering effectiveness, and provide actionable insights that help leadership make informed decisions.

A data-driven technology leader who combines strong DevOps platform expertise with the ability to measure, communicate, and improve engineering performance. You excel at turning engineering data into actionable business insights and influencing leaders through clear, concise, and impactful communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and evolve the organization's DevOps platform strategy across Azure DevOps and GitHub Enterprise.
  • Drive migration, adoption and governance of:
  • GitHub Enterprise (Actions, Packages, Pages, Advanced Security, Code Quality)
  • Azure DevOps (Boards, Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts)
  • Define, measure, and report on key engineering performance indicators, including:
  • Delivery predictability
  • Lead time and cycle time
  • Deployment frequency
  • Quality and reliability metrics
  • Engineering productivity, platform & AI adoption
  • Define, build and maintain executive dashboards and reporting solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, HTML, SQL, and PySpark.
  • Partner with Engineering, Product, Architecture, Security, and Executive Leadership to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Translate complex technical data into clear business insights and executive-level presentations.
  • Lead and mentor DevOps and platform engineering teams while promoting best practices and operational excellence.
  • Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and how we can identify bottlenecks, reduce costs, improve efficiency and integrate AI in all stages

Required Qualification:

  • 10+ years of experience in DevOps, software delivery & development, or platform engineering
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams and enterprise platforms.
  • Proven experience implementing and governing Azure DevOps and GitHub Enterprise at scale.
  • Strong background in engineering metrics, analytics, and executive reporting.
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders and presenting to executive audiences.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational change management skills.
