Software Engineer - Backend

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Build and support RESTful APIs based on business and system requirements
• Enhance and modify existing microservices to improve functionality and performance
• Support integration of backend services with enterprise systems and external APIs
• Assist in ensuring stable and secure communication between microservices
• Work on API integrations across backend platforms and third‑party systems
• Monitor application performance and support troubleshooting activities
• Identify and resolve minor performance bottlenecks across services and databases
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code aligned with development standards
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and debugging activities
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, QA teams, and architects
• Work with cross‑functional teams across telecom and/or eCommerce domains
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand‑ups and sprint planning
• Maintain documentation for APIs, modules, and technical changes
• Provide timely updates on assigned tasks and development progress

Mandatory Skills

• Proficiency in Core Java and OOP concepts
• Hands‑on experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture
• Experience in building and supporting REST APIs
• Experience in Kafka, Redis, Technologies
• Basic knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases
• Experience with Git version control
• Understanding of transactional workflows and backend processes
• Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams
• Good problem‑solving and analytical skills
