Role: Senior Java Full Stack Developer

Location: Airoli, Navi Mumbai

Duration: 2+ years of contract

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver fully tested, high-quality code aligned with functional and technical specifications.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable Java, Spring Boot applications.
• Good Frontend experience with React or Angular
• Provide Level 3 production support by diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to application behaviour, configuration, and code.
• Develop, debug, and analyse existing IAM applications to ensure continued reliability and performance.
• Interact with architects to uphold strong design principles and maintain consistent code quality standards.
• Ensure designs make effective use of existing reusable components, maintain clear traceability to business requirements, and embed reusability as a core principle in all new modules.
• Contribute to the identification and remediation of technical vulnerabilities and obsolescence risks.
• Participate in performance tuning and code optimization efforts to improve application efficiency.
• Produce and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design documents, technical specifications, deployment guides, and release notes.
• Apply DevOps practices to support continuous integration, automated testing, and streamlined deployment pipelines.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot.
• Proficient in front-end development with React or Angular.
• Proven experience providing Level 3 support for production applications.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across the application stack.
• Solid understanding of database design, SQL, and stored procedures.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, Maven, and Sonar; experience with containerization tools (Docker; Kubernetes a plus).
• Experience writing and executing automated tests, including unit and integration tests.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Qualifications/Education Required:

Education Bachelor or better – Computer Science Technology, Physics or Math.

Experience Required:

This role requires professional experience developing web applications using Java and Spring Boot. The depth of knowledge expected will be evaluated in line with the candidate's level of seniority.

Competencies Required:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.
• A proactive approach to work, with well-developed organizational abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and work independently with minimal supervision.

Skills & Knowledge Requirements

• Deep expertise in Java/J2EE programming.
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Maven, and Hibernate.
• Experience with front-end technologies including React or Angular.
• Solid understanding of database design, SQL queries, and stored procedures.
• Proven experience designing and implementing event-driven architectures and APIs.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain applications in production/maintenance mode.
• Background in application security and Single Sign-On (SSO) concepts is a plus.
