Job Description

We are seeking an API & Kafka Developer with hands-on experience in API development, event-driven architecture, Kafka-based messaging, and microservices. The candidate should have strong knowledge of Apache Kafka, API Development, Java, Spring, Event-Driven Architecture, and Microservices.

The candidate will be responsible for developing APIs and implementing real-time event-driven integrations using Kafka.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain REST APIs using Java and Spring.
• Design and implement Kafka-based event-driven applications.
• Develop Kafka producers and consumers.
• Configure topics, partitions, consumer groups, and message processing.
• Integrate Kafka with microservices and enterprise applications.
• Ensure reliable and scalable message processing.
• Monitor Kafka applications and troubleshoot messaging issues.
• Implement error handling and retry mechanisms.
• Develop APIs for data exchange between systems.
• Participate in application design and architecture discussions.
• Perform unit testing and integration testing.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Work with DevOps teams for deployment and monitoring.
• Maintain technical documentation.
