  • Analyse, develop, deploy, and test commercial insurance data and portfolio monitoring solutions.
  • Prepare test plans and develop test cases for commercial portfolio systems.
  • Develop a deep understanding of commercial portfolio data sources, data engineering, and data manipulation logic.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in commercial insurance data and portfolio analytics.
  • Design, implement, and monitor pricing processes within agreed timelines.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
  • Understand commercial insurance infrastructure and recommend and design system improvements.
  • Analyse complex datasets, identify key issues, and drive data-driven business decisions.
  • Demonstrate strong programming, development, and testing skills.
  • Possess advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong numerical and analytical abilities.
  • Apply excellent problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships across business and technical teams.
  • Demonstrate strong customer focus and ensure effective service delivery.
  • Communicate technical information, findings, and solutions clearly and professionally.
  • Adapt quickly to changing business requirements and work environments.
  • Understand diverse technology infrastructures, data platforms, and complex systems.
  • Demonstrate strong self-management, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • Deliver high-quality outputs while meeting business deadlines.
  • Graduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5–6 years of relevant technical experience.
  • Advanced-level SQL skills (Mandatory).
  • Advanced-level SAS Programming skills (Mandatory).
  • Intermediate-level Python programming skills (Mandatory).
  • Exposure to SAS DI Studio (Good to have).
  • Intermediate-level Microsoft Excel and dashboarding skills.
  • Exposure to BI reporting and data visualization tools such as Tableau and R-Shiny.
  • Mandatory knowledge of Amazon Redshift architecture.
  • Strong understanding of ETL workflows and data flow architecture.
  • Mandatory knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
  • Experience in the insurance industry is highly desirable.
