Description

Job Description We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Engineer, Firmware Engineering to join our innovative team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge firmware for next-generation storage devices, working on projects that impact millions of devices worldwide.

  • Design, implement, and debug firmware for advanced storage devices, including NVME technologies
  • Develop and optimize data structures, software algorithms, and data paths for high-performance storage solutions
  • Implement storage interface protocols, such as NVME, OCP, to enhance product capabilities
  • Work across multiple development environments, including software simulations, FPGA boards, and final product hardware
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams in India and internationally to solve complex challenges and drive innovation
  • Participate in an Agile development environment, utilizing advanced CI tools to ensure efficient and clean code development
  • Contribute to the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to final implementation
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in firmware engineering and storage solutions Qualifications
  • B.Tech. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
  • 2+ years of experience in real-time/embedded systems and C programming
  • Proven experience in firmware development for storage devices (SD, USB, SATA, NVME)
  • Strong knowledge of RTOS (e.g., ThreadX, MQX, Nucleus, VxWorks, Embedded Linux)
  • Proficiency with ARM or ARC processors family, debugging environments, and tools
  • Solid understanding of NAND flash fundamentals and storage interface protocols (e.g., UFS)
  • Experience with software simulations and FPGA boards
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and continuous integration tools
  • Demonstrated ability to develop a wide system view for complex embedded systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset
  • Exceptional communication skills and fluency in English, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work effectively across cultural and organizational boundaries
  • Quick learner with a passion for implementing innovative solutions
  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, evolving technology environment
