Job Location: Jarod- Vadodara, Gujarat

Working Mode: Onsite (Full time)

Experience Required: 2-3 Years as a Web developer

Job Role:

• Own the end-to-end design and visual presentation of website pages and digital assets.
• Drive continuous UX/UI improvements based on user behavior, feedback, and best practices.
• Coordinate with content and marketing teams to ensure timely and accurate website updates.
• Research, recommend, and implement tools, plugins, and design solutions to enhance website performance and efficiency

Responsibilities:

1. Shopify Store Design & Configuration

• Build and customize responsive Shopify storefronts utilizing Shopify themes (Dawn, OS 2.0 themes, and commercial themes).
• Customize sections, page templates, and product pages to match brand aesthetics and functional requirements.
• Assist in basic Shopify Liquid, HTML, and CSS adjustments to refine theme styling and layout constraints.
• Configure standard Shopify apps (reviews, upsells, email pop-ups, filters) without compromising store speed.

2. E-Commerce Graphic & Visual Design

• Design visually engaging e-commerce assets, including homepage hero banners, promotional carousels, collection badges, icons, and product showcase graphics.
• Strictly follow brand identity guidelines (typography, color palettes, spacing) to ensure visual consistency across all digital touchpoints.
• Prepare, crop, compress, and optimize product photography and banner graphics for web performance.

3. UX/UI & Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

• Structure intuitive navigation menus, collection filters, and clear call-to-action (CTA) buttons to guide visitors toward purchase.
• Ensure all storefront designs are mobile-first, responsive, and render flawlessly across all modern screen sizes and devices.
• Optimize the path-to-purchase across product pages, cart drawers, and checkout transitions.

4. Catalog & Content Integration

• Upload and organize product listings, variants, collections, metafields, and blog posts.
• Collaborate with copywriters and marketing teams to integrate rich media, lifestyle imagery, video embeds, and customer review modules.

5. Quality Assurance & Performance Optimization

• Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing to detect layout bugs, broken links, or checkout bottlenecks.
• Audit store assets to ensure fast page load times (optimizing image formats like WebP and minimizing asset bloat).
• Verify that app integrations, form submissions, and cart workflows function properly prior to launch.

6. Continuous Learning & Industry Awareness

• Keep pace with emerging e-commerce design trends, Shopify Online Store 2.0 features, and direct-to-consumer (DTC) best practices.
• Proactively suggest design tweaks and layout improvements to lift user engagement and conversion rates.

7. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) & Web Performance:

• Configure on-page SEO essentials across all products, collections, pages, and blog posts (meta titles, meta descriptions, and clean URL handles).
• Maintain proper heading hierarchy (H1 for main titles, H2/H3 for subheadings) so search crawlers can parse page content clearly.
• Apply descriptive, keyword-relevant Alt Text to all imagery and compress media assets (e.g., WebP format) to maintain fast page speed and Core Web Vitals scores.
• Implement intuitive internal linking across navigation menus, collection pages, and related products, and handle basic 301 URL redirects within Shopify when paths change.

8. Team Collaboration

• Work alongside senior developers, digital marketers, copywriters, and project managers to deliver projects on schedule.
• Participate in design reviews and implement constructive feedback promptly.
