Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Node.js Microservices Developer to design, develop, deploy, and

maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications using modern

JavaScript/TypeScript technologies. The ideal candidate should have experience in developing

cloud-native microservices, RESTful APIs, event-driven applications, and distributed systems

while following software engineering best practices.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to build enterprise-grade

applications, integrating cloud services, implementing DevOps practices, and ensuring high

availability, security, and performance. Depending on experience, the candidate may also

contribute to solution architecture, technical leadership, mentoring, and engineering

governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Node.js and

TypeScript/JavaScript.

• Build scalable Microservices following cloud-native architecture principles.
• Develop RESTful APIs, GraphQL APIs, and event-driven services.
• Design and implement asynchronous communication using message brokers.
• Develop reusable, modular, and maintainable application components.
• Integrate relational and NoSQL databases.
• Implement authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0, JWT, and OpenID

• Develop secure, high-performing, and resilient backend services.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Implement logging, monitoring, tracing, and observability.
• Build containerized applications using Docker and deploy to Kubernetes environments.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and automate application deployment.
• Write unit, integration, and API tests.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, architects, and

product owners.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, code reviews, and technical

discussions.

• Prepare technical documentation and API specifications.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering best practices based on

experience.

• Good exposure in cloud skills Microsoft Azure/Amazon Web Services (AWS)/Google
