Full-Stack Developer / Software Engineer

Nuvo AI is the AI and technology arm of Meril Life Sciences, focused on developing intelligent software products, AI-enabled applications, and enterprise automation solutions.

We are looking for hands-on Full-Stack Developers to work across multiple projects, building scalable web applications, backend services, secure APIs, and AI-integrated business platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain end-to-end web applications using Python, FastAPI, React.js, and JavaScript.
• Build scalable backend services, REST APIs, and integrations with internal and external systems.
• Develop responsive, user-friendly frontend interfaces and integrate them with backend services.
• Design and optimize relational databases, data models, queries, and application workflows.
• Integrate LLM APIs and AI capabilities into business applications and automation workflows.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, JWT, and role-based access control (RBAC).
• Manage file and document storage using AWS S3 and other relevant cloud services.
• Use Redis for caching, session management, and efficient data access.
• Containerize applications using Docker and support deployment through CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain code quality, documentation, testing standards, and version control using Git.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready solutions.

Required Technical Skills

1. Backend Development

• Python and FastAPI.
• REST API development, integration, and error handling.
• API validation, asynchronous programming, and backend architecture fundamentals.2. Frontend Development
• React.js and JavaScript.
• Component-based development, API integration, and responsive UI development.
• TypeScript is an advantage.3. AI & LLM Integration
• Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Hugging Face.
• Familiarity with LangChain and/or LlamaIndex.
• Understanding of LLM-powered application architecture, prompt workflows, and AI service integration.4. Databases & Caching
• PostgreSQL and SQL; MySQL is also relevant.
• Database schema design, query optimization, and data persistence.
• Redis for caching and high-performance data access.5. Cloud & DevOps
• AWS fundamentals, particularly AWS S3.
• Docker and containerized application development.
• CI/CD pipelines and basic cloud deployment practices.
• Git and collaborative version control workflows.6. Security & API Standards
• OpenAPI/Swagger documentation.
• Authentication and authorization using OAuth2 and/or JWT.
• Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Secure API design and implementation practices.

Preferred Domain Experience

Candidates with experience building software products, enterprise platforms, or automation solutions in any of the following domains will be preferred:

• Sales Platforms: CRM, sales operations, lead management, and sales workflow automation.
• Supply Chain & Logistics: Supply chain management, procurement, inventory, logistics, and workflow automation.
• R&D Platforms: Research and development systems, regulatory workflows, medical device-related applications, and document-centric processes.
• Accounts & Finance Automation: Financial operations, accounting workflows, reconciliation, reporting, and finance process automation.Experience in AI-enabled enterprise applications, workflow automation, SaaS platforms, or LLM-integrated products will be an added advantage.

Experience & Hiring Requirements

We have 5 openings across the following experience levels:

• 4 positions: 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• 1 position: 3–5 years of relevant experience.

We are looking for engineers with practical development experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to contribute across the frontend, backend, database, and deployment lifecycle.
