Role Description This is a remote, contract role for a Website Designer at Shreedev Associates. The Website Designer will be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing visually appealing and user-friendly websites based on client requirements and brand guidelines. Daily tasks include creating wireframes and mockups, designing page layouts and visual assets, collaborating with stakeholders to refine design concepts, and translating designs into responsive front-end implementations. The role also involves optimizing websites for usability and performance, ensuring compatibility across devices and browsers, and updating or refining existing sites as needed. The Website Designer will work closely with project managers and other digital professionals to deliver projects on schedule and to specification.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Web Design and Responsive Web Design skills to create modern, user-centered interfaces across devices.
• Candidates should possess Graphic Design and Graphics skills to develop visual assets, layouts, and branding elements that align with client goals.
• Candidates should possess Front-End Development skills to translate designs into clean, maintainable, standards-compliant code.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch) and basic version control practices.
• Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret client requirements, and effective remote communication and time management skills.
• Experience with accessibility best practices, SEO-friendly design, and cross-browser testing is beneficial.
• A portfolio demonstrating completed web design projects and relevant professional or educational background in design, development, or related fields is preferred.
