Job Summary:

We are seeking a strategic Senior Data Mining Analyst to lead data extraction and analysis for our financial vertical. In this role, you will design the data profiling and segregation strategies, and collaborate with senior stakeholders and core technical teams. You will design and implement the end-to-end workflows required to extract, refine, and analyse raw data, while building the scalable standards and frameworks that will support our long-term data strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish standards: Develop systematic approaches to discover and structure data from diverse financial and regulatory sources.
• Infrastructure collaboration: Partner closely with the teams to design scalable data warehouse architectures and robust ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Data governance: Establish rigorous quality controls and validation protocols to guarantee absolute data integrity for compliance and financial auditing.
• Anomalous activity detection: Architect complex pattern-matching models to identify outliers and other anomalies
• Team Building: Lay the groundwork for the future data team, providing technical mentorship as the Data Product and Insights capabilities scale.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• SQL & Databases: Strong command of complex SQL optimization combined with deep familiarity handling both structured (relational) and unstructured (non-relational) data environments.
• Advanced Programming: Advanced proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, PyPDF/pdfplumber, NLTK/spaCy,etc.) or R for large-scale data manipulation, parsing, and text mining from multiple data sources including PDFs.
• Data Mining & Machine learning: Strong background in unsupervised learning and anomaly detection methods to discover hidden patterns and structures within unlabelled financial datasets.
• API Integration: Proven experience designing and building custom pipelines to extract data from financial and stock market data interfaces.
• Data Visualization: Hands-on experience developing enterprise-grade dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI, Tableau, or open-source frameworks.

Other Skills:

• Financial Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with financial statements, corporate metrics, and XBRL formats required for parsing and mining complex regulatory filings.
• Analytical Problem Solving: Strong skills and the ability to approach complex, ambiguous challenges with realistic, structured solutions.Education:

BE / BTech / MSC IT/ BCA/ MCA

• Experience: 6+ years of professional experience in data mining, data profiling, financial data analysis, with clear experience leading projects or teams.

Compensation:

CTC - ₹ 16 lakhs + per annum* (Indicative salary; final compensation will be determined based on experience, expertise, and interview performance.)
