Data Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse financial, economic and industry datasets to generate actionable insights for equity research.
  • Work with equity analysts and economists to support research reports, sectoral analysis and investment themes.
  • Develop data-driven models, dashboards and visualisations to identify trends and patterns.
  • Automate data collection, processing and reporting using analytical tools.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across research outputs.

Candidate Profile:

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in data analytics, quantitative research or financial analytics.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL and advanced Excel.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with an ability to interpret complex datasets.
  • Familiarity with financial markets, company financials and economic indicators is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with commonly used financial data platforms such as Bloomberg, Ace Equity and CMIE is essential.
  • Prior experience in a brokerage, investment bank, asset management company or financial research firm would be an advantage.
