We’re looking for Senior Golang Engineers highly skilled in designing and delivering high-performance, scalable, and reliable backend systems. It's a great fit for people who enjoy owning complex distributed systems end-to-end, making a direct impact on highly visible product areas, and collaborating closely with product, frontend, platform, and infrastructure teams.

What you’ll build and own

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Golang.
• Develop and optimize distributed systems that support high traffic volumes and critical platform functionality.
• Architect and implement cloud-native solutions, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Design and manage scalable data storage solutions across SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain production services running on Kubernetes.
• Improve system observability and reliability through monitoring, automation, and performance optimization.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and troubleshoot complex production issues.
• Collaborate closely with product, frontend, platform, and infrastructure teams to deliver seamless user experiences.

Core Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with strong hands-on expertise building backend systems in Golang.
• Solid understanding of Go's concurrency model (goroutines, channels), along with testing, profiling, and idiomatic Go practices.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and microservices architectures, with a proven track record in high-traffic, large-scale environments.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB), including scalable data modeling and performance optimization.
• Experience building and operating cloud-native applications on GCP or AWS, with production experience on Kubernetes.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Have

• Professional experience building frontend applications using React.js, Next.js, and GraphQL.
• Experience building recommendation systems, personalization engines, or search infrastructure.
• Familiarity with large-scale consumer-facing products serving millions of users.
• Experience working in high-growth environments where scalability, reliability, and user experience are critical.
• Comfortable working flexible hours to overlap with distributed teams across different time zones.
