About the Role

RTAC is looking for an Automation Test Engineer to strengthen the quality of its software products through automated testing. The role involves creating test scripts, validating application workflows, and improving test coverage across web and mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Automate functional, regression, and end-to-end test scenarios.
• Validate application workflows, API responses, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Identify defects, analyse test failures, and coordinate with developers on fixes.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support release validation.
• Maintain test documentation and continuously improve automation coverage.

Skills and Qualifications

• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with Playwright, Selenium, or similar testing tools.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, Python, or Java for test automation.
• Exposure to Appium, API testing, SQL, and Git is an advantage.
• Understanding of defect tracking and continuous integration practices.
• Strong analytical skills; freshers with relevant projects are encouraged to apply.
