Cloud Service Delivery & Assurance Engineer

Position Overview

We are looking for a Cloud Service Delivery & Assurance Manager to lead cloud implementation, transition, and operational assurance across Saksham Cloud/RHOSO and public cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI. The role will coordinate with customers, architects, engineering, operations, and security teams to ensure cloud services are delivered as per scope, timelines, quality, security, and SLA commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cloud Service Delivery

• Lead end-to-end cloud service delivery across RHOSO (RedHat OpenStack On OpenShift), AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.
• Translate customer and business requirements into executable delivery plans.
• Manage implementation schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate provisioning, configuration, migration, testing, go-live, and handover activities.
• Ensure delivery meets agreed scope, quality, security, SLA, and operational readiness requirements.

2. Customer & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary customer-facing interface for cloud implementation and service transition.
• Conduct progress reviews, technical discussions, and service review meetings.
• Communicate status, risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans clearly.
• Manage escalations and coordinate internal teams for timely resolution.

3. Engineering & Technical Coordination

• Coordinate with architects, platform engineers, DevOps, network, security, storage, and operations teams.
• Convert approved solution architecture into delivery activities and track technical dependencies.
• Validate implementation readiness and manage deviations from approved scope or design.
• Facilitate technical problem-solving between customer and internal teams.

4. Cloud Platform Scope

• RHOSO, OpenStack, OpenShift/Kubernetes, and hybrid-cloud environments.
• AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI cloud services and delivery models.
• Compute, storage, networking, IAM, security, monitoring, backup, DC/DR, migration, and automation/IaC concepts.

5. Service Assurance & Operational Readiness

• Ensure delivered services meet availability, performance, security, capacity, and SLA expectations.
• Validate operational readiness, service acceptance, documentation, and production handover.
• Coordinate monitoring, incident, problem, change, backup, and support processes.
• Drive RCA, corrective actions, and continuous improvement for service reliability.

6. Reporting & Management Communication

• Prepare delivery dashboards, service reports, and management updates.
• Track KPIs, SLAs, risks, milestones, issues, and service health indicators.
• Escalate critical issues with impact analysis and recommended actions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years in cloud infrastructure, service delivery, infrastructure operations, or technical project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI, with exposure to OpenStack, RHOSO, OpenShift, or Kubernetes.
• Understanding of compute, storage, networking, IAM, security, monitoring, backup, and cloud operations.
• Good understanding of ITIL processes including incident, problem, change, SLA, and service acceptance.

Preferred Certifications

• Relevant certification in AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, Red Hat/OpenShift, Kubernetes, OpenStack, ITIL, PMP, or PRINCE2 is preferred.
