Senior BI Developer

Role Description The Senior BI Developer is a full-time remote role responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable BI solutions using Sisense and related technologies. Day-to-day activities include developing robust data models and data warehouse structures, implementing efficient ETL processes, and creating interactive, user-friendly dashboards that support business decision-making. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, translating business needs into technical specifications, and optimizing existing analytics solutions for performance and usability. The Senior BI Developer will also troubleshoot data and reporting issues, ensure data quality and governance, and contribute to continuous improvement of BI standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong data modeling and data warehousing skills, with experience designing scalable, maintainable data structures.
• Expertise in dashboard design and development, including creating intuitive, high-impact visualizations and reports.
• Proficient analytical skills for interpreting complex data sets and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
• Hands-on experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes, tools, and performance optimization.
• Advanced proficiency with Sisense or similar BI platforms; experience with plugins, customizations, and API integrations is highly beneficial.
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases; exposure to cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) is a plus.
• Ability to work remotely with cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field; equivalent practical experience considered.
• Experience in one or more of DVK Analytics’ focus industries (Retail, Renewable Energy, Healthcare, E-commerce) is advantageous.
