About the role

About the role Many of our clients run on numbers they cannot easily see: orders in one system, payments in another, leads in a third. You will build the pipelines and dashboards that bring those together, so owners can see how the business is doing without opening five tools. What you will do

• Design and build dashboards and reports for client businesses: sales, cash, customers, operations and people.
• Connect data from CRMs, accounting tools, order systems and spreadsheets, and keep it up to date automatically.
• Clean and model the data, and document where each number comes from.
• Set up tracking for our own and client products: events, funnels and attribution from first click to revenue.
• Check the numbers carefully against source systems, and tell people when they do not add up.
• Work with product and analysts to decide which few numbers matter, and drop the rest.
• Look after performance and access: who can see which data. What good looks like
• A founder opens one screen on Monday morning and knows what needs attention.
• Numbers match the accounting system, and everyone trusts them.
• Pipelines run quietly, and fail loudly when they break. Requirements

Must have

• 2+ years working with data: analytics engineering, BI development, backend development with a data focus or similar.
• Strong SQL, and comfort with a scripting language such as Python or PHP.
• Experience building dashboards in tools like Metabase, Looker Studio, Power BI or a custom web front end.
• Understanding of data modelling and of reconciling data across systems.
• Attention to accuracy and clear documentation. Nice to have
• Experience with Google Analytics 4 and tag management.
• Pulling data through APIs and scheduling jobs.
• Understanding of privacy and consent requirements for tracking.
• Experience with finance or e-commerce data.
