Senior Java Developer – Microservices

Role Overview: We are looking for Senior Java Developers to build secure, scalable and high-performing backend applications for a banking client. Candidates should be hands-on developers with strong coding skills and experience working on enterprise-scale microservices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Java/Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs.
• Implement business logic using clean code, OOP principles and appropriate design patterns.
• Work with SQL databases, messaging systems and distributed application components.
• Develop unit and integration tests and participate in peer code reviews.
• Troubleshoot application, performance and production issues and provide root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with architects, frontend developers, QA and business teams throughout the SDLC.Required Skills
• 7+ years of strong hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong Java 8/11/17+ and Spring Boot experience.
• Hands-on Microservices and REST API development.
• Strong understanding of OOP, Design Patterns, Collections and exception handling.
• Good SQL/database knowledge and experience with unit testing.
• Strong coding, debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Banking / Financial Services experience is preferred.Good to Have: Python, GenAI, ML and Google ADK.

Front end experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Angular or React) anything fine.
