Cyber Security Engineer

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Cybersecurity and Information Security, with the ability to design and maintain secure systems and processes.
• Hands-on experience with Network Security, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and secure network architecture.
• Proficiency in Application Security, including secure coding practices, code reviews, and protection against common web vulnerabilities.
• Experience performing Vulnerability Assessment using industry-standard tools and methodologies, and translating findings into remediation actions.
• Relevant certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent are beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Knowledge of security standards and frameworks (e.g., OWASP, ISO 27001, NIST) and familiarity with incident response procedures.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and clear written and verbal communication in English.
