Sr. QA Automation Engineer

Infilon Technologies is a prominent software development company located in Ahmedabad, hiring an Senior QA Automation Engineer for one of its clients, TenForce.

TenForce is an expert in EHSQ and Operational Risk Management software, based in Belgium and part of Elisa IndustrIQ, helping global enterprises achieve intelligent manufacturing.

Job Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat (WFO)

Experience: 5+ years

Able to join within 15 days (Immediate joiners preferred)

What you'll do

• Analyse requirements, application functionality, business workflows, and technical specifications to design effective test scenarios.
• Perform functional, integration, end-to-end, regression, and exploratory testing across web and mobile applications.
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated tests using Selenium, Appium or equivalent testing frameworks.
• Validate complete user journeys across browsers, devices, screen sizes, and operating systems, including interactions between application components.
• Identify, reproduce, document, and track defects; gather relevant technical information and collaborate with developers to investigate root causes and verify fixes.
• Maintain and improve automated test suites and contribute to their integration into CI/CD pipelines.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, Product, and product owners to ensure critical workflows and risks are adequately covered.
• Continuously improve test coverage, automation reliability, testing practices, and overall software quality.

What we're looking for

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Strong technical background with proven experience in both manual and automated testing.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Appium or equivalent automation frameworks.
• Experience testing web and mobile applications across different browsers, devices, and operating systems.
• Good understanding of application architecture, end-to-end system interactions, CI/CD, and modern software development practices.
• Technical versatility and the ability to learn and work across different technologies, frameworks, programming languages, and environments.
• Proactive and takes initiative: You identify opportunities for improvement, take ownership, and act proactively without waiting to be asked.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach.
