Python Fullstack Developer | 5-8 Years of experience mandatory

Job Description:

Cygnus Professionals is hiring a full stack developer. You will own features end to end across a Django backend, a Vue and TypeScript frontend, and the background workers that power our platform's data and AI workflows.

The product is in active development, so you will have real influence on architecture, code quality and how the platform scales.

What you will work on:

• Build features end to end, from Django models and REST APIs to Vue and TypeScript interfaces.
• Work with PostgreSQL schemas and queries.
• Build Celery and Redis pipelines for data ingestion, document processing and AI workflows, with retries and idempotency.
• Integrate third-party services, including email, identity providers and LLM APIs.
• Implement secure authentication, role-based access control and audit logging for sensitive data.
• Write tests, review code and keep the codebase clean as the product scales.

Requirements:

• 4+ years building production web applications, with ownership of features from database to UI.
• Strong Python and Django: ORM, migrations, DRF serializers and viewsets, permissions, and testing with pytest.
• Strong Vue 3 with TypeScript: Composition API, typed API clients, state management, forms and data tables.
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL: schema design, migrations and writing efficient queries.
• Working experience with Celery and Redis: writing background tasks, handling retries and debugging failed jobs.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs with OAuth and webhooks.
• Good English communication skills, written and spoken. You can explain technical decisions clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Works from a defined sprint scope, writes clear PRs and flags blockers early.
• Reliable overlap with US Eastern working hours.
