Centre for Research in Wellbeing and Happiness, FLAME University, Pune, invites applications for the position of “Research Analyst” on a contractual basis for a period of one year, subject to further extension.

Description: The Research Analyst will support ongoing and new research projects of the Centre, particularly in the areas of public health, health economics, health systems and policy, population studies, and socioeconomic inequalities in health and well-being. The role will involve working across different stages of the research process, including literature reviews, primary and secondary data collection, data analysis, interpretation and presentation of findings, and preparation of research reports, policy briefs, manuscripts, and other research outputs. The candidate will be expected to work with large-scale survey and administrative datasets and assist in applying appropriate statistical and econometric methods. The role may also involve supporting field-based research, surveys, and data collection, depending on project requirements. Candidates should have strong analytical and writing skills, an interest in applied and policy-relevant research, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with researchers and faculty members.
Responsibilities
- Support ongoing and new research projects of the Centre, particularly in the areas of public health, health economics, health systems and policy, population studies, and socioeconomic inequalities in health and well-being.

- Work independently as well as collaboratively with researchers and faculty members.
Qualifications
- Essential Qualification: A minimum of an undergraduate degree in Economics, Public Health, Public Policy, Statistics, Demography/Population Studies, or a related discipline.
- Desirable Qualification: A postgraduate degree or higher qualification in any of the above-mentioned disciplines. Compensation may be negotiable for candidates who have completed a Master’s degree, commensurate with their qualifications and experience.

- Strong analytical and writing skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with researchers and faculty members.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with large-scale survey and administrative datasets.

Pay range and compensation package
- Gross Remuneration INR 35000 per month.
- Compensation may be negotiable for candidates who have completed a Master’s degree, commensurate with their qualifications and experience.
