We’re Hiring: AWS API Gateway Engineer

We are currently hiring an experienced AWS API Gateway Engineer for one of our esteemed clients. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in AWS API Gateway, API design and integration, security, authentication, and gateway configuration to build, manage, and optimize secure and scalable API solutions aligned with business requirements.

We are seeking an experienced AWS API Gateway Engineer to design, configure, secure, and manage APIs within theAWS ecosystem. The candidate will work with application and cloud engineering teams to implement scalable APIintegrations and cloud-native solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, and manage APIs using Amazon API Gateway.
Integrate APIs with AWS Lambda, backend services, and other AWS components.
Implement authentication, authorization, throttling, caching, and access controls.
Configure REST APIs, HTTP APIs, and API lifecycle management as required.
Implement monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting using Amazon CloudWatch.
Support API deployments, environment configuration, and CI/CD automation.
Follow AWS security, reliability, and performance best practices.

Required Skills

Minimum 4 years of relevant API development, cloud integration, or API management experience.
Hands-on experience with Amazon API Gateway.
Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, JSON, and API security.
Knowledge of AWS Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, and related AWS services.
Understanding of OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API authentication mechanisms.
AWS networking, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code experience preferred.
