Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Community Manager. The Community Manager will oversee online communities across platforms, moderate discussions, and ensure that community guidelines are followed. The role involves engaging with members, responding to inquiries, and fostering a welcoming, inclusive environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and executing community initiatives, collecting feedback from users, and sharing insights with product and marketing teams. The Community Manager will also create community updates, manage events or live sessions, track engagement metrics, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve overall community experience.

Qualifications

  • Community engagement and moderation skills, including experience managing online communities and enforcing community guidelines.
  • Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to create clear, consistent messaging and respond thoughtfully to community members.
  • Experience with social media platforms, community tools, or forums, and comfort using analytics to track and report on engagement.
  • Stakeholder collaboration skills, including the ability to work with product, marketing, and support teams to relay feedback and coordinate initiatives.
  • Organizational and project management abilities to plan campaigns, events, and content calendars while meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and experience fostering respectful, non-discriminatory spaces.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with reliable internet access and strong time-management skills.
  • Prior experience in community management, customer success, social media, or related fields; experience with tech or digital products is a plus.
