Role Description The Head of Engineering – Technology, Delivery & Business Growth is a full-time, hybrid role based in Kochi, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role leads engineering teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions that support digital transformation, AI integration, and cloud-native initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing end-to-end project delivery, defining technical strategy and architecture, allocating resources, managing timelines, and ensuring engineering best practices, security, and performance standards are met. The position collaborates closely with product, design, sales, and client stakeholders to align technology roadmaps with business objectives, drive innovation, and support revenue growth. The Head of Engineering also mentors engineering leaders, builds strong teams, improves processes, and fosters a culture of ownership, learning, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in Team Management and Team Leadership, including building, mentoring, and scaling high-performing engineering teams.
• Strong Engineering Management skills with a track record of owning technical direction, architecture decisions, and delivery excellence.
• Proficiency in Project Management, including planning, prioritization, risk management, stakeholder communication, and on-time delivery.
• Hands-on background in Software Development, preferably in cloud-native, AI-powered, or enterprise-grade applications.
• Experience in technology strategy, digital transformation, and aligning engineering initiatives with business growth objectives.
• Solid understanding of modern software architectures, DevOps practices, CI/CD, and quality engineering principles.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional and client teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior leadership experience in a product or services technology organization; experience in consulting or multi-client environments is an advantage.
