Summary

Position Purpose and Summary This role is response for the ERP module for respective functions and other related business applications. This role ensures new and current implementation are best in class which will adhere to functional and non-functional requirements. And best SDLC practices are followed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • ERP Implementation & Enhancements
  • Understand the business requirement and the need for customization
  • Perform fit gap analysis and review solution with business application manager
  • Assess the cross functional and long-term impact of enhancements
  • Drive continuous improvements and system enhancements to support evolving business needs
  • Review technical implementation from functional and non-functional perspective
  • Requirements Gathering & Solution Design
  • Work closely with stakeholders across departments to gather business requirements and translate them into functional ERP solutions.
  • Ensure that ERP configurations and enhancements support strategic and operational objectives.
  • Change Management & User Adoption

Critical Competencies for Success:

  • Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth transition during ERP implementations, upgrades, or process changes.
  • Support user onboarding, functional training, and documentation of business processes.
  • Business Process Alignment
  • Lead the mapping and optimization of core business processes to align with ERP capabilities.
  • Ensure system performance to achieve business processes TAT
  • Plan infra and partner resources alignment for peak festive sale period
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Act as the functional bridge between business ERP SPOC and technical teams
  • Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and cross-functional discussions to ensure alignment and adoption
  • Proactive as L3 SPOC for function to ensure SLA is met for successful run and operate
  • Vendor & Partner Coordination
  • Collaborate with ERP vendors and implementation partners to align system functionality with business requirements.
  • Review vendor performance against SLA, quality of delivery and other agreed KPIs for respective function.
  • Strong understanding of D365 ERP features and technical implementation
  • Adept in managing Run and Operate along with Growth Track for assigned business function
  • Ability to translate business requirements into ERP functional specifications
  • Experienced as a SPOC from ERP data side for data exchange with DW and other third party
  • Knowledge of best practices and industry benchmarks for ERP-enabled processes
  • Ability to evaluate solutions and align them with business objectives
  • Propose viable solutions for discussion with Application Manager and other stakeholders
  • Process mapping and gap analysis capabilities
  • Skilled in influencing stakeholders and managing expectations at all organizational levels.
  • Competence in vendor/partner management for ERP projects.
  • Strong communication skills to bridge business and technical teams

Person Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s in engineering (IT/Computer) or equivalent; MBA or Master’s preferred.
  • Certifications: Microsoft D365 (relevant module)
  • Experience: 10–12 years in ERP Implementation and running out of which 5+ years in MS D365
  • Industry Exposure: Retail, Jewellery, Fashion.
  • Personal Attributes: High integrity, brand sensitivity, empathy, and commercial acumen.
