Data Scientist (Senior) – AI & Data

You will help the client make its knowledge and data easier to find, analyse and reuse, including AI use cases. Planned work includes retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), knowledge graphs, entity recognition and sector analytics in areas like fisheries and public health.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI and ML solutions: RAG, classification, entity recognition, knowledge graphs.
• Advise on AI readiness, data quality and responsible AI use.
• Build analytics, BI dashboards and data models.
• Support data architecture decisions for a planned enterprise analytics platform.
• Document models and hand over to client staff.

Must have

• 3+ years in data science or ML engineering, with models in production.
• Python (pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch or similar) and SQL.
• Hands-on LLM / RAG work (vector search, embeddings, evaluation).
• Power BI or an equivalent BI tool.

Nice to have

• Knowledge graphs, ontologies, metadata standards; geospatial data.
• Azure AI services or Microsoft Fabric; scientific or public-health data; French.
