Senior Trainer - Analytics

Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Data Analytics Trainer to deliver high-quality training to university students and corporate professionals. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Python, SQL, and analytical concepts, combined with excellent teaching skills. The trainer will use SAS platform to teach. Prior SAS experience is not mandatory — candidates with strong technical teaching ability will be trained and certified in SAS by us.

Key Responsibilities

Training Delivery

• Conduct instructor-led training (classroom/online) on analytics fundamentals, Python programming, SQL, statistics, and SAS.
• Deliver structured sessions, hands-on labs, live coding, and project-based learning experiences.
• Tailor explanations for diverse audiences ranging from undergraduate students to working professionals.

Curriculum & Content Development

• Develop and update course materials, lecture slides, lab guides, assessments, and case studies.
• Translate Python-based concepts into SAS equivalents during training.
• Create real-world projects aligned with industry expectations and academic learning outcomes.

Learner Evaluation & Support

• Evaluate assignments, quizzes, and final projects.
• Provide mentoring, doubt-clearing sessions, and personalised learning support.
• Track learner progress and prepare reports for academic or corporate stakeholders.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Coordinate with university faculty, placement teams, and corporate L&D teams for session planning and progress reviews.
• Participate in orientation sessions, workshops, and demo classes as required.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, punctuality, and classroom engagement.

Continuous Improvement

• Stay updated with emerging analytics tools and best practices.
• Learn and adopt SAS programming quickly through internal training.
• Suggest enhancements to curriculum structure, delivery formats, and teaching methodology.

Required Qualifications

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related fields.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python (data types, functions, pandas/NumPy, data handling).
• Good understanding of SQL (queries, joins, transformations).
• Solid foundation in statistics and analytics concepts (descriptive stats, hypothesis testing, regression, etc.).
• Ability to quickly learn SAS tools and syntax (training support provided).

Teaching & Communication Skills

• 8+ years of experience in teaching, mentoring, or training (formal or informal).
• Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple, structured manner.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior exposure to SAS (SAS Studio, SAS OnDemand, or similar) will be an add on.
• Experience delivering technical training in universities or corporate environments.
• Familiarity with BI or data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience designing lab exercises, coding assignments, or capstone projects.

Candidate should be open to travel for PAN India training assignments.
