Alteryx Technical Lead

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Senior Alteryx Technical Lead to design, develop, optimize and support enterprise-grade Alteryx workflows. The candidate should have strong expertise in workflow automation, advanced data transformation, macros, SQL, performance tuning and Alteryx Server administration.

Experience: 8 12 Years

Certification: Alteryx Designer Core Certification or higher Mandatory

Domain: Investor Operations, Client Reporting & Data Automation

Work location: Hyderabad (hybrid)

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain complex ETL/ELT workflows using Alteryx Designer.
  • Develop reusable Standard, Batch and Iterative Macros.
  • Optimize workflows for performance, memory utilization and large-volume data processing using AMP Engine.
  • Build data integration workflows connecting databases, APIs, Snowflake and other enterprise platforms.
  • Develop complex SQL queries, data transformations, reconciliations and validation pipelines.
  • Deploy, schedule, monitor and troubleshoot production workflows using Alteryx Server / Alteryx One.
  • Manage workflow failures, production incidents, root-cause analysis and performance bottlenecks.
  • Support Microsoft Entra ID and SCIM-based user provisioning and access management.
  • Work with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance, code reviews and mentoring to junior engineers.

Mandatory Technical Skills

  • Valid Alteryx Designer Core Certification or higher.
  • Advanced hands-on Alteryx Designer experience.
  • Strong experience with Standard, Batch and Iterative Macros.
  • Expertise in Alteryx workflow optimization and AMP Engine.
  • Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, joins and aggregations.
  • Experience with database integrations, APIs and enterprise data sources.
  • Working knowledge of Alteryx Server / Alteryx One administration.
  • Python for automation

Good to Have

  • Private Equity / Investment Management domain experience.
  • Alteryx Designer Advanced or Expert Certification.
  • Snowflake, Python and Pandas.
  • Microsoft Entra ID and SCIM 2.0 provisioning.
  • Alteryx Server APIs, REST APIs and CI/CD.
  • Experience with financial data reconciliation, investor reporting and data governance.

Ideal Candidate: A technically strong Alteryx specialist capable of independently managing complex workflows, platform operations, production support and performance optimization, with the ability to guide junior engineers.

Note: Alteryx certification is mandatory.
