Full Stack Engineer – FastAPI & React

Location: Bangalore

Work Mode: Hybrid – 1–2 days/week from office

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Engineer with strong experience in FastAPI, Python, React, and TypeScript. The role involves developing scalable backend services, responsive frontend applications, secure APIs, and end-to-end features.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable backend services using FastAPI and Pydantic v2.
• Build responsive web applications using React 18, TypeScript, Vite, and React Query.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs with frontend applications.
• Implement authentication and authorization using OAuth/OIDC.
• Work with Okta or similar identity providers.
• Implement API security, including authentication and signature verification.
• Maintain frontend-backend DTOs, schemas, and API contracts.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve application performance and reliability.
• Own features end-to-end, from development and testing to production deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Python & FastAPI.
• Good knowledge of Pydantic v2.
• Strong experience with React 18 and TypeScript.
• Experience with Vite and React Query.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and frontend-backend integration.
• Experience with OAuth/OIDC authentication.
• Knowledge of API security and authentication mechanisms.
• Experience in full-stack application development.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have:

• Experience with Okta or similar IAM platforms.
• Experience with consumer-facing applications.
• Experience with search, matching, or management portal applications.
• Exposure to CI/CD and production deployment practices.
• Experience working with live/real-time data integrations.

Location Requirement

Candidates must be currently based in Bangalore.
