Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Data Analyst role based in Chennai. The Data Analyst will work with business stakeholders to understand requirements, gather and validate data, and build analytical solutions that support better and faster decisions. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing data cleaning and transformation, conducting exploratory and statistical analyses, and creating data models to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities. The role involves preparing clear reports, dashboards, and visualizations, and presenting findings in an accessible way to technical and non-technical audiences. The Data Analyst will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, contribute to process improvements, and help embed data-driven practices into ongoing operations.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills and Data Analytics capabilities to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights.
- Solid foundation in Statistics, including hypothesis testing, regression, and basic predictive techniques.
- Experience with Data Modeling, including structuring datasets, defining relationships, and supporting reporting and analytics needs.
- Effective Communication skills to explain data findings clearly, collaborate with stakeholders, and document methods and results.
- Proficiency with data tools such as SQL, Excel, and at least one analytics or BI platform (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Exposure to programming or scripting languages commonly used in analytics (e.g., Python or R) is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
