Product Engineer, Fullstack (1-3 Years, 60L)
About the role
We’re looking for a Product Engineer, Fullstack to own product features from idea through implementation and measured outcome.
This is not a role where product hands you a specification and engineering executes it. You’ll work directly with users, product data, design, and the founding team to understand problems, decide what should be built, ship it across the stack, and measure whether it actually worked.
The product sits at the intersection of AI, video creation, and editing, so you’ll work on problems ranging from context-aware agents and editor state to video quality, versioning, and complex creative workflows.
You’ll work closely with the co-founder, product, and design teams as a hands-on individual contributor.
What you'll own
- Features from idea to outcome. Identify the problem, determine the right product response, build it, ship it, and measure its impact.
- Full-stack product development. Work across frontend and backend without waiting for detailed specifications or handoffs.
- Context-aware AI features. Build agentic experiences that understand editor state, assets, timelines, history, presets, and external media.
- Video quality verification. Build systems that evaluate outputs across technical quality, brand alignment, pacing, and overall video quality.
- Editing history and versioning. Design and implement branching, merging, and versioning concepts that feel intuitive to video creators.
- Product experimentation. Use activation, engagement, and product behavior data to identify friction and decide what to improve.
- User-driven development. Talk to users, understand how they actually use the product, and translate those insights directly into engineering decisions.
- Weekly product learning. Ship in short cycles, observe what happens in production, and use those learnings to determine what gets built next.
What we're looking for
- Experience building a zero-to-one product or major product feature from an ambiguous starting point.
- Strong full-stack engineering ability, with experience making meaningful frontend and backend decisions.
- Strong product judgment — you think about what should be built and why, not only how to implement it.
- Experience taking features all the way from problem discovery to production and iteration.
- Comfort using user conversations, activation data, and product behavior to make engineering and product decisions.
- Experience using AI coding agents/tools while maintaining strong judgment around architecture, correctness, and system behavior.
- Ability to reduce scope intelligently and ship useful product improvements quickly rather than waiting for perfect solutions.
- Comfortable operating as an individual contributor with significant ownership and limited process or structure.
