Blockchain Consultant (Contract) – Web3 Startup

📍 Location: India (Remote / Hybrid)

🕒 Engagement: Contract (6–8 months, extendable)

About the Role

We’re a fast-growing Web3 startup building decentralized, blockchain-native products. We’re looking for a Blockchain Consultant (Contract) who can help us validate ideas, architect solutions, and execute quickly across smart contracts, token models, and Web3 integrations.

This role is ideal for someone who has built in Web3, understands startup pace, and can move seamlessly between strategy and execution.

What You’ll Do

• Work closely with founders and product teams to define and validate Web3 use cases
• Design end-to-end blockchain architectures for Web3 products
• Develop, review, and optimize smart contracts
• Advise on protocol selection (Ethereum, Polygon, Solana, Layer-2s, etc.)
• Support tokenomics design, NFT mechanics, and governance models
• Build and integrate DApps, wallets, and Web3 APIs
• Conduct PoCs, MVP builds, and technical feasibility assessments
• Ensure security, scalability, and gas optimization
• Assist with testnet/mainnet launches
• Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams

Must-Have Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on blockchain / Web3 experience
• Strong expertise in smart contracts (Solidity preferred; Rust a plus)
• Experience building on Ethereum, Hyperledger or EVM-compatible chains
• Familiarity with Web3.js / Ethers.js
• Experience with wallets, RPCs, and on-chain/off-chain integrations
• Understanding of DeFi, NFTs, DAOs, or tokenized ecosystems
• Knowledge of security best practices and common Web3 attack vectors
• Ability to work independently in a startup / contract environment

Nice to Have

• Experience working with Web3 startups or DAOs
• Exposure to Layer-2s, cross-chain bridges, and rollups
• Knowledge of token economics and incentive design
• Smart contract audit experience
• Open-source Web3 contributions or GitHub portfolio
