Technical Product Manager

The Technical Product Manager – OR (TPM – OR) role is a customer facing role, which combines both Deep technical expertise in OR, along with customer management roles.

The key functions include:

• Work with Customer and Business Development teams to identify new features
• Develop Business Requirement Documents / Solution Documents which can be easily understood and consumed by the Operations Research (OR) / Data Science (DS) teams
• Handle customer feedback and communications
• Act as first level of expert support to customer – triage customer feedback on features, issues
• Leverage OR expertise to act as a “translator” between customer and operations research analyst
• Provide support (as required) to Pre-Sales, Business Development teams for product demos

Skills:

• Master's in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics or a related field (IITs, IIMs, ISI or equivalent preferred).
• 5-8 years experience in designing and developing OR solutions
• 1-2 years of customer handling / stakeholder management experience
• Customer-facing experience: workshops, demos, executive presentations and pilot delivery.
