Role Description The Java Developer (Fintech) will design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and microservices that support financial products and services. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code, implementing and integrating APIs, troubleshooting and optimizing application performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product, QA, and DevOps. The developer will work with frameworks like Spring to build secure, scalable solutions, contribute to code reviews, maintain technical documentation, and ensure adherence to industry and security standards typical of fintech environments. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in core Java and general Programming skills for building scalable, high-performance applications.
• Hands-on experience in Software Development using modern engineering practices (version control, CI/CD, testing).
• Practical knowledge of Microservices architecture, including design, deployment, and monitoring of distributed systems.
• Experience with Spring Framework (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data) for building robust backend services.
• Understanding of fintech domain concepts such as payments, transactions, security, and compliance is an advantage.
• Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases, RESTful APIs, and integration with third-party services.
• Ability to write clear technical documentation and work effectively in agile teams with strong communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
