Role Description The Product Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City. This role is responsible for leading end-to-end product development, from idea generation and market validation to launch and continuous improvement. Daily responsibilities include gathering and analyzing customer and market insights, defining product requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as R&D, sales, operations, and finance. The Product Development Manager will oversee product roadmaps, prioritize features, manage project timelines, and monitor performance metrics to ensure products meet business and client needs. The role also involves working closely with leadership to align product strategy with the company’s growth objectives and to identify new opportunities within the integrated business ecosystem.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support evidence-based decisions.
  • Experience in market research and customer insight gathering to inform product opportunities and positioning.
  • Background in research and development (R&D), including leading or coordinating product innovation initiatives.
  • Solid product management skills, including roadmap planning, requirement definition, and lifecycle management.
  • Understanding of sales processes and collaboration with sales teams to support product go-to-market and revenue goals.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Management, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in product development or product management, preferably in consulting, technology, or business services.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively on-site with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies; certification in product or project management is an advantage.
