Post Title: UAV Systems Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled UAV Robotics & Embedded Systems Engineer to join our team and drive the development of our next-generation uncrewed platforms. In this role, you will be heavily involved in hands-on UAV and UGV integration, building robust remote-operation software, and developing the embedded systems that power our vehicles.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • UAV/UGV Integration: Lead hands-on hardware and software integration for uncrewed aerial and ground vehicles, ensuring seamless communication between sensors, flight controllers, and payloads.
  • GCS & Remote Operations: Develop, optimize, and maintain Ground Control Station (GCS) software and remote-operation interfaces for low-latency, high-reliability field deployments.
  • Embedded Systems Development: Write clean, efficient, and scalable embedded code (C/C++) for microcontrollers and companion computers to manage real-time tasks.
  • System Testing: Conduct rigorous hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) and software-in-the-loop (SITL) testing, diagnosing and resolving complex electromechanical issues.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in embedded software development for robotics, autonomous vehicles, or aerospace applications.
  • Hands-on expertise with ROS 2 and deep familiarity with flight control software such as ArduPilot or PX4.
  • Strong working knowledge of the MAVLink protocol for micro air vehicle communication.
  • Experience interfacing with and integrating physical hardware components (sensors, LiDAR, GPS, telemetry radios).
