Role Description The Founding AI Strategist will lead the end-to-end vision, roadmap, and execution of AI capabilities across AppLever Tech’s enterprise products. This full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru involves identifying high-impact AI use cases, designing solution architectures, and guiding implementation with product and engineering teams. The role includes collaborating with stakeholders to translate business problems into AI-driven solutions, defining data requirements, and setting standards for model performance, security, and responsible AI practices. The Founding AI Strategist will also evaluate third-party AI tools, create internal frameworks and best practices, and mentor team members to build a sustainable AI function within the company. As an early strategic hire, this role will significantly shape the company’s AI direction and influence future product and team decisions.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in AI/ML strategy and solution design, including experience identifying business use cases and defining AI roadmaps.
• Hands-on exposure to machine learning, generative AI, or data science concepts, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams.
• Experience working with cloud or SaaS-based products, preferably in B2B or enterprise application environments.
• Skill in stakeholder communication, translating complex technical topics into clear business language for founders, clients, and non-technical teams.
• Ability to design processes and frameworks for data governance, model evaluation, and responsible AI usage.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, comfort with ambiguity, and readiness to operate as an early, founding member shaping AI capabilities.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in product strategy, consulting, or solution architecture for business software is a strong plus.
