Role: Oracle EBS Mfg Technical Consultant

Location: GCC Hyderabad, India

Work Model: Hybrid (3 days WFO)

Experience: 8+ Years

Support Hours: India 2nd shift (must be available to support the US Central Time (CST) zone).

Key Responsibilities

Technical Development

  • Design, develop, and support Oracle EBS Manufacturing technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain FRICE components (Forms, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, and Extensions).
  • Create and optimize complex Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Packages, Procedures, Functions, and Triggers.
  • Design, build, and support custom reports using Oracle reporting technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to Oracle Manufacturing applications.
  • Develop robust exception handling and error management frameworks for custom solutions.
  • Support application enhancements, integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Data Conversion & Integration

  • Lead data conversion activities including:
  • Data mapping
  • Cleansing and validation
  • Migration strategy
  • Reconciliation and post-load verification
  • Build and support inbound/outbound interfaces with Oracle EBS.
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading activities using Oracle tools and custom programs.

Documentation & Support

  • Prepare and maintain technical design documentation including:
  • MD70 Technical Design Documents
  • Unit Test Scripts
  • Deployment Documentation
  • Support Guides
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
  • Support SIT, UAT, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization activities.
  • Collaborate with global business and IT teams to resolve complex manufacturing system issues.

Oracle Functional Knowledge Required

Strong understanding of Oracle EBS Manufacturing and Supply Chain business processes including:

  • Oracle Inventory
  • Item Master Management
  • Categories
  • Bills of Material (BOM)
  • Routings
  • Resources
  • Work in Process (WIP)
  • WIP Jobs
  • Cost Management / Costing
  • Inventory Transactions
  • Material Movement Processes
  • Manufacturing Execution Processes

Candidates should be able to effectively collaborate with functional teams and understand business requirements within these modules.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8-10 years of Oracle E-Business Suite technical development experience.
  • Strong experience in Oracle Manufacturing and Supply Chain environments.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting global manufacturing organizations.
  • Exposure to Oracle EBS R12/R12.2 environments.
  • Experience with Oracle APIs and Open Interfaces.
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps delivery methodologies.
  • Oracle certifications are a plus.
