Job Title: Senior SAP VIM Consultant

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka / Hyderabad, Telangana / Chennai, Tamil Nadu / Pune, Maharashtra

Work Mode: Hybrid – 2 Days Work from Office per Week

Experience: 5–14 Years

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (C2H)

Working Hours: 11:00 AM–8:00 PM IST OR 12:00 PM–9:00 PM IST

Key Responsibilities

• SAP VIM Expertise: Design, configure, implement, enhance, and support OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) solutions integrated with SAP ECC/S/4HANA.
• VIM Configuration: Hands-on experience with Document Processing, document types, process types/options, business rules, invoice validation, exception handling, and approval workflows.
• Invoice Processing: Strong experience with PO and Non-PO invoices, invoice verification, invoice blocking/parking, credit memos, duplicate invoice handling, and end-to-end invoice lifecycle.
• P2P & SAP Integration: Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P), SAP FI/AP and MM, including Purchase Orders, Goods Receipts, Invoice Verification, vendor master data, and accounting document posting.
• OCR & Capture Technologies: Experience with OpenText Intelligent Capture/IES, ICC/BCC, OCR, Enterprise Scan, and invoice ingestion through email, IDoc, XML, or other channels.
• Workflow & Troubleshooting: Configure and monitor VIM approval workflows, queues, interfaces, and exception processes; perform root-cause analysis and resolve complex production issues.
• Implementation & Support: Participate in end-to-end implementation, rollout, enhancement, migration, SIT/UAT, Go-Live, Hypercare, and AMS/support activities.
• Technical Collaboration: Good understanding of SAP ABAP, workflows, ArchiveLink, IDocs, RFC/BAPI and interfaces; ability to work closely with ABAP, Basis, FI, MM, and integration teams.
• Business & Documentation: Gather requirements from business stakeholders, prepare functional/technical specifications, test scripts and solution documentation, and translate business requirements into VIM solutions.
• Senior-Level Responsibilities: Lead functional discussions, mentor junior consultants, coordinate with offshore/onshore teams, support estimation and planning, and communicate effectively with clients and business stakeholders.
