This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer based in India.

The Senior Forward Deployed Engineer will design, develop, and deploy advanced AI and machine learning solutions for a large global enterprise client.

You will work across the full AI development lifecycle, from model training and data engineering to deployment and ongoing optimization.

Using Python, cloud platforms, and modern machine learning frameworks, you will build scalable applications that address real business challenges.

The role offers opportunities to work with Large Language Models, generative AI, NLP, and emerging Agentic AI technologies.

You will also contribute to enterprise automation initiatives, intelligent chatbots, and data-driven decision-making solutions.

Working in a collaborative, technology-focused environment, you will combine hands-on engineering expertise with practical problem-solving.

Accountabilities

Responsibilities

As a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing AI-driven solutions, managing data workflows, and delivering scalable machine learning applications. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Develop, train, deploy, and maintain machine learning models for predictive analytics, classification, and clustering.
• Build AI solutions using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
• Leverage cloud platforms, including AWS services such as SageMaker, Lambda, and S3, as well as Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Vertex AI.
• Integrate and fine-tune Hugging Face transformer models, including BERT and GPT, for natural language processing tasks such as text classification, summarization, and sentiment analysis.
• Develop AI-powered automation solutions, including chatbot implementations using Microsoft Teams and Azure AI.
• Work with big data technologies such as Apache Spark and Snowflake to process and analyze large datasets.
• Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines to support data quality, transformation, and integration.
• Manage and optimize databases using SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Create interactive dashboards and data visualizations using Tableau and Power BI to support business insights and decision-making.
• Develop LLM-powered applications for conversational AI, text generation, and summarization, including model training, fine-tuning, and deployment.
• Design and implement Agentic AI systems that enable autonomous agents to make decisions, adapt, and optimize tasks in real time.

Requirements

The ideal candidate has practical experience applying AI and machine learning technologies to real-world challenges, along with strong programming, data engineering, and analytical capabilities. You should also be comfortable collaborating with diverse teams and adapting to evolving technologies. Key qualifications include:

• 3–6 years of experience applying artificial intelligence and machine learning in practical projects.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Knowledge of fundamental algorithms, object-oriented programming, and functional design principles.
• Proficiency with data analytics libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib.
• Practical experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Experience processing large datasets using Apache Spark and related big data technologies.
• Knowledge of natural language processing and AI model implementation using Hugging Face and cloud-based AI services.
• Strong understanding of database management, query optimization, and data processing.
• Experience creating data visualizations and dashboards with Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and adapt to new AI technologies and approaches.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related discipline.
